the murder/suicide last week involving kansas city chiefs player jovan belcher. >>> and talk about a fish story -- switching gears -- a fisherman in california tells his tale after landing an enormous 459-pound tuna with a rod and reel. it could be a record catch. >> that story coming up. >>> but we're going to start this morning, the life or death mission in afghanistan to snap a american doctor out of the clutches of the taliban. this rescue operation was given the green light because the military really worried that taliban might kill this doctor. abc's mohammad lila is here this morning with new details and it was a risky mission. >> absolutely, dan. as you say, this was a life and death rescue overnight. take a look at this doctor, dr. dilip joseph, seen here in afghanistan, he was working at a remote medical clinic, ran by morning star development, when he and two his afghan colleagues were kidnapped on tuesday. the afghans were quickly released, but the doctor was kept in captivity. but last night, coalition forces made their move, making the decision to go in and rescue dr. joseph
